Go to purchase page

With just one sip, the rich aroma and sweetness of this beer, reminiscent of a ripe mango, fills your mouth. Will such a fragrant beer pair with delicate Japanese food? This is a beer that challenges the creation of the "Hazy IPA of the future."
By using sake yeast, a characteristic of the Sake no Hana series, for the main fermentation, we have succeeded in adding a lightness and moderate crispness while maintaining the juiciness that is unique to Hazy IPA.
This is a must-try for everyone who loves IPA among craft beers, and for everyone who loves Japanese food.

Hazy IPA:
While a regular IPA (India Pale Ale) is a beer style characterized by a bitter hop aroma, this beer style is less bitter and more juicy.
As the word "hazy" suggests, it is cloudy and has an orange or yellow color.

~Until this beer is made~

In search of a taste that brings out the feeling of Japan

We want to enrich the experience of people visiting Japan. We want them to gain a deeper understanding of the charms of Japan through beer. With this in mind, we first conducted a survey of 100 foreign visitors to Japan. We conducted detailed interviews about Japanese food culture as well as their favorite beer styles. The idea of a sake-based beer came from the feedback that "I'm interested in beer that has the aroma of ginjo sake."

Savor the delicious flavor of sake yeast and sake lees, enjoy the aroma that lingers in the glass, and enjoy it with Japanese food.
The Sakanohana series aims to be the beer that will amaze you three times: by drinking it, by fragrant it, and by pairing it with other drinks, making it the most enjoyable beer in the world to enjoy Japanese food.

"Sake no Hana" means sake yeast and sake lees, and we hope that this series will not only be a very Japanese experience, but also provide an auspicious experience.

Sake no Hana Hazy IPA, the sixth in the "Sake no Hana Series," is a beer that aims to harmonize with shabu-shabu, a traditional Japanese winter dish.

The most distinctive feature of this beer is that the main fermentation is carried out with sake yeast.
When you put it in your mouth, you will first get a rich aroma like tropical fruits, followed by a light aroma like apples and pears. It also has a moderate sharpness.

By combining the flavors of sake yeast and sake lees, which are characteristic of the Sake no Hana series, we have succeeded in further enhancing the umami and sweetness of the meat ingredients.

Shabu-shabu

Sakenohana Hazy IPA combines a rich tropical fruit aroma with a light flavor, making it a great accompaniment to shabu-shabu.

It is an accent that enhances the flavor of meat that has been boiled for a short time to lock in the umami. It is a perfect match for pork loin and sesame sauce. The flavor of sake lees brings out the sweetness of the meat even more.

This is the perfect drink for when you want to enjoy a refreshing shabu-shabu hotpot with a juicy beer that tastes like tropical fruit.
